About This Lunatic In My Head!

Well… Hello!

I am pretty shameless in my writing, in the sense that I exploit my feelings and experiences. I sometimes also try my hand at writing stories, by building up on happenings I see around me. Now, if you can keep a secret, I’ll let you in on one thing. Up until now, I have only disappointed myself with story writing. Poetry, on the other hand, comes quite easily to me.

Let me clear myself on one thing, though. I won’t say I am a writer. That would be saying too much. I note down a few things that happen to cross my mind, as I drift through lectures or as I lie in bed wondering about the silliest of things. That said, I do hope to become a writer someday. Till then, I’ll keep posting here. Till someday.

Here’s hoping you get lost in the winding ways of this Thought Train Network and don’t find the way out of this blog. *gives a cheeky smile*

Yours truly….

  2. Whatever you say, you are a writer… maybe not an author but definitely a writer. So just keep stringing those words as the thoughts move you and authorship may come sooner than you think. Now following your blog…

  3. I look forward to following your blog, particularly the poetry. I tend to write without reservation or apology so it’s always good to find like minded writers, okay, poets. Anyway, great writing that has a genuine and very unpretentious feel about it…well done…cheers P

  4. You are a writer. By exploiting your feelings and your experiences through writing you are giving something to the world that may make a difference. I think every great writer out there started exactly the way you do it now. So keep writing! I’m happy to find you here.

  5. This is a great “About” page. If I put in a good amount of time on my own, I think it would read similar to yours. I sort of shoved mine aside and pretended it didn’t exist. Looking forward to reading more here.

    1. Nice to know I’m in company of people who are like me… If there is a proper way to put aside things, that should be how it’s done – pretending it doesn’t exist! Hahaha… And after you read, do let me know what you think about it… Thanks for the visit. 🙂

      1. Hahaha.. Yeah. I don’t know why I kept it all mysterious and vague. I can be a doofus like that, sometimes.

I’m Geet and I’m a student in an institution that bears a similar name to that of yours, but with a different suffix – K.

  6. Only you can let the writer in you out. I know it’s a scary thought but you can do it. If you write you are a writer. Accepting that fact can be daunting. Thanks for following my blog.

I like your idea if a writer, or at least what a writer should be. It’s clear you write from the heart – you got that raw gritty honest tone in your words, and that’s what renders your writing all the more powerful. Looking forward to reading more of you.

    Cheers
